TAP X-30 is a rigid polyurethane foam with a 2 lb. density that expands up to 30 times its original liquid volume. It's perfect for adding strength and buoyancy to your watercraft! Simply mix equal parts of Side A (Resin) and Side B (Catalyst), stir thoroughly, and pour into an enclosed space—making sure to leave enough room for expansion. X-30 is resistant to gasoline, oil, solvents, and other petroleum products, making it ideal for pour-in-place buoyancy or thermal insulation.
- Flotation Factor: approximately 60 lbs. per cubic ft.
- Excellent for tooling and mold-making
- Superior sound and thermal insulation
- Easy to fiberglass over—unaffected by polyester or epoxy resins
