DIY Clay and Thermoplastic Modeling
Our selection of clay modeling materials features premium products you can use to construct models or prototypes with meticulous care. TAP InstaShape is a lightweight, non-toxic polyester thermoplastic that contains small, white beads. When heated, the beads coagulate and become clear, so they behave more like warm clay. This moldable thermoplastic is a great option for enthusiasts that like to make crafts or clay art projects, but it’s also an excellent option for making cosplay molds and props. Jolly King modeling clay is a smooth, pliable, non-hardening gray and green plasteline that contains a microcrystalline wax base to make costumes, masks, and so much more.Modeling materials made by Worbla are highly regarded and incredibly easy to use. These non-toxic thermoplastics are made from renewable, natural raw materials and are most often compared to clay, fruit leather, or beeswax. You can draw on them, cut them with scissors, use Dremel tools, or heat-form to any desired shape. Every sheet contains a natural adhesive that activates when heated, so you can attach Worbla to itself without any fuss. Once your sheets cool, you can use hot glue or an epoxy-type adhesive to shape them over forms of foam, foil, and wire.
In addition to clay modeling materials, we also have flexible adhesive bonds that are suitable to use with scenic materials, such as fabrics, plastics, foams, and wood. This advanced adhesive dried to a clear, hard, yet pliable coating. It also accepts paint, letting you put the finishing touches on your models with a smooth, professional finish.
