TAP Article: How to Open & Pour Solvent Cement

We often get asked about opening and handling the liquid acrylic cement. Here are the steps involved.




1. Remove lid using a pair of Channel Lock pliers.

2. Underneath is a seal that says “Cut Out”… We do not cut it out.













3. Instead, use a Phillips Screw Driver to punch through it. Wear eye protection in case there are splatters.













4. 2 holes allow the cement to pour out easily from one hole while the air enters the second hole.













5. Works like a charm!
