TAP InstaShape

TAP’s InstaShape is a polyester thermoplastic that is lightweight and non-toxic, made up of small, white beads that are approximately 1/8” in diameter. Once heated, the beads bind together and become transparent.  In this state, InstaShape can be effortlessly molded into any shape, much like warm clay!

Directions:
A variety of methods are available to heat the plastic beads. The simplest way is to microwave a cup of water for roughly 2 minutes, and then pour the desired amount of TAP InstaShape beads directly into the water. Then, use a fork to blend the now-clear beads together. Once retrieved with the fork, allow the material to cool until it is comfortable to touch with your hands. From this point, it can be formed to your desired shape!  As it cools, the material will turn white. InstaShape can easily be reheated to extend your working time. The length of your working time will be determined by the amount of InstaShape used.
