Acrylic is a remarkably versatile material, because it is as transparent as the finest optical glass but it is also ten times as strong and only half the weight. Due to its flexibility and impact resistance, cast acrylic sheets are used in a wide variety of applications, from replacing glass in windows to structural glazing. CHEMCAST boasts great machining properties, making it easy to work with and maintain for many years to come. Cast acrylic is also an excellent insulator with chemical resistance and the ability to be cut, drilled, routed, shaped, turned, filed, sanded, or polished to suit your particular set of needs. We offer a wide variety of sizes to choose from.
If you demand superior optical clarity without compromise, cast acrylic may just be the solution you need for that upcoming project. Whether you are a designer, construction professional, or a hobbyist, we have all your needs covered here. Each cut-to-size sheet can be customized by width, length, and thickness, but we can also add holes, radius corners, and rounded or routed edges for an additional cost. Cut-to-size requests may take one to two business days to process, or you can visit one of our store locations to get custom cast acrylic sheets in five minutes or less, from start to finish. Our highly trained experts can promptly provide a quote for any cut-to-size request. Please feel free to contact TAP Plastics today with any questions or concerns. A friendly representative will be happy to help.
