Standard twist drill bits will chip and crack the acrylic. High-speed steel TAP PlasDrill Acrylic Drill Bits have sharper tips and cutting edges specially ground to produce clean, chip-free holes in acrylic and many other sheet plastics. To prevent dulling, use PlasDrill Bits only to drill plastic.

- Support the plastic on a rigid surface, e.g., scrap plastic or wood.
- Avoid drilling holes closer than 1/4" from the edge of the piece.
- Drill holes oversize to allow for expansion and contraction of plastic.
