Acrylic Chess Set

Christine Ballestero decided to give her boyfriend a chess set as a gift for the holidays. She decided to build a chess set using TAP's acrylic shapes. She used acrylic spheres, cubes, and rings and glued them together with IPS Weld-On 16. She also used 1/8" bronzed mirrored acrylic as the board with checkered glass edge vinyl and topped it off with 3/16" clear acrylic. A unique gift and an excellent conversation piece, Christine reported that her boyfriend loved his chess set. The final dimensions of the chess board are 13" x 13".
