Art Studio Signage
Roland James Willits owns the Willits Center Gallery located in Fremont, CA. His gallery showcases the work of local and international artists. Two of these artists are Sami Nada, whose sculpted work has had tremendous acknowledgment in Europe and the US, and Joe McGarry, a local artist who specializes in painting landscapes in oil and acrylic. Mr. Willits wanted an outside sign for his gallery to convey the artistic work of these artists.
He came to TAP for his unique outdoor 3D signage. Two identical signs were needed: one sign for the front of the gallery and one for the back. He used TAP Urethane RTV Mold-Making System for the mold and poured TAP Quik-Cast Polyurethane Casting Resin System into the mold to make the sign. He painted the sign in bronze and black colors to give it a metallic look. The dimensions of the sign are approximately 3 1/2' x 3 1/2' and 3/4" thick.
