Brutal Bus

Jon Barnard from our TAP Pleasanton store advised the Brutal Bus Team's on what materials to use this soapbox car. The Brutal Legend themed soapbox car won the Red Bull Soapbox Derby in Los Angeles. The "winning ride" was made with TAP fiberglass materials: Bond Coat "B", chopped mat, polyester filler. Chrome edge trim plastic molding, and clear tubing was cut, bent, and chrome painted for chrome strips. The Brutal Bus team consists of Christine Phelan, Andrew Cook, Luke Nalker and Sean Feeley (the driver). They all wore the Tyvek suits during the fiberglassing of the project.
