Colorful Fishing Rods
A new trend has hit the fishing rod building industry! TAP Premium Pigments are now being used to create colorful fishing rods. Some builders of custom fishing rods have started using dyed finish resin systems to apply colorful marbleized finishes to custom rods.
Most of the decorator work in the past used thread, which is labor intensive. Using the pigments, rod builders such as Bill Stevens from Gon Fishin' of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, have been able to create works of art, which are being accepted by their customers without the thread work.
