GuitarBike
Ray Nelson built the Guitarbike in 1981. He used TAP Laminating Resin and TAP Surfacing Resin with Standard Glass Mat and Boat "A" Standard Cloth layered four times to get the thickness that he wanted. He's happy to report that 23 years later it is still in excellent shape.
The bike has been featured on Discovery Channel, Monster Nation and recently been on display at the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles. Ray founded a children's charity "Guitars not Guns" that provides guitars and lessons to foster kids, at-risk-youth, and other deserving kids. The Guitarbike is being used to bring attention to this music program for kids. To donate guitars, contact: www.guitarsforkids.com or write to Ray Nelson, Box 9602, San Jose, CA 95157.
