Mirror Star

Rob Newell created these stars made of mirrors. He came to TAP and used an acrylic mirror instead of glass mirror because acrylic is lighter and more durable than glass. He used wood frames, covered with 1/8" acrylic mirror. The edges of the mirrors were beveled to hide the wood. The finished piece is 48" x 48".
