The OSU Project: Team Baja
The Oregon State University Mechanical Engineering Department designed and fabricated this mini baja to compete in this years Society of Automotive Engineers Mini-Baja West Competition in Portland. Last year they built two mini-Baja race cars that placed first and third overall They plan on winning again this year. The OSU team will be competing against more than 90 teams from other engineering schools from as far away as Florida and Mexico.
The TAP materials used to build this model are: Carbon Fiber, TAP Marine Grade Epoxy A-Side Resin 314, TAP Marine Grade Fast B-Side Hardener 102 and Slow B-Side Hardener 143, foam brushes, wooden stir sticks, plastic cups & buckets and gloves.
