Opaque Colored Plastic Sheets

Translucent Colored Plastic Sheets

When you are on the TAP website selecting a color and you see the term “Sign Red” or “Sign Blue” this means that the plastic sheet is translucent in color; light can get through but you can not see through it.

Transparent Colored Plastic Sheets

The word transparent means that you can clearly see through the colored plastic sheet. Transparent Colored Acrylic (with the exception of florescent colors) is ideal for outdoor signs.

Colored Polycarbonate Sheets

Colored PVC Foam Sheets

These durable, high-impact colored pvc sheets have strength and resistance to most industrial chemicals. This versatile plastic offers excellent thermal and sound insulation, so it absorbs vibrations and oscillations. PVC plastic sheets are also easy to fabricate, glue, paint, and screen print. Komatex, the brand of PVC sold at TAP Plastics are weather and moisture-resistant and consequently highly suitable for outdoor use. This means the material will undergo no changes to their physical properties over periods of many years. White sheet types are color fast, while colored sheets (red, green, blue, etc.) may suffer a change in color(become brighter) due to the higher degree to which they absorb solar radiation.
